- What ingredients are in GOOD FEED?

We use 3 simple ingredients for each blend. Beef, Chicken, or Turkey, mixed with lightly blanched kale and carrot.

Gently cooking meats kill harmful bacteria while maintaining the full amino acid profile of the proteins.

Blanching kale and carrot neutralizes enzymes for minimum vitamin loss and makes it easier for your dogs body to digest.

Organic kale is a good source of Dietary Fiber, Protein, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Folate, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorous, and a very good source of Vitamin A, C, K, B6, Calcium, Potassium, Copper and Manganese.

Organic carrot is a natural pre-biotic and a good source of Vitamin A (from beta-carotene), Biotin, Vitamin K (phylloquinone), Potassium and Vitamin B6.

- Why are carbohydrates bad for dogs?

Carbohydrate fillers offer little nutritional value and have contributed to the numerous health issues of the modern dog.

Sweet potatoes, peas, rice, quinoa, oats, legumes require cooking to be digestible and are NOT an intuitive component of the canines natural diet.

Carbohydrates breakdown into glucose.

Excess glucose feeds yeast.

Systemic yeast overgrowth weakens the immune system and is the underlying factor in most ear, eye and skin allergies.

  • drippy eyes
  • ear infections
  • hot spots
  • itchy skin and paws
  • excess shedding

Excess glucose causes blood sugar spikes and triggers an overactive insulin response.

  • obesity
  • diabetes
  • pancreatitis
  • loose stool

Excess glucose causes erratic dopamine release in the brain.

  • fatigue
  • anxiety

Moreover, excess glucose causes inflammation, and is the preferred energy source for cancer cells.

The canine body is optimized for eating meats, and is very efficient at converting proteins and fats into glucose as needed.

Carbohydrates are best offered in moderation, as a treat between meals or for times of high activity.

- Why are preservatives bad for dogs?

Preservatives have been linked to various cancers, tumor growths, fetal abnormalities and infertility. They disrupt efficient digestion and can build up as toxins in your dog’s body.

  • Propylene glycol
  • Ethoxyquin
  • BHA
  • BHT
  • TBHQ
  • Propyl gallate

GOOD FEED contains no preservatives and is always fresh prepared, in small batches, air sealed and frozen for local delivery, exclusively.

- How should I serve GOOD FEED?

Serve GOOD FEED daily to maintain optimal health, or periodically as a nutrient dense cleanse to support healing and recovery.

Easily introduce GOOD FEED to your dog’s diet without concern of tummy upset or messy stool.

Simply thaw and serve. No transition necessary.

- Should I add supplements to GOOD FEED?

GOOD FEED provides essential bio-available nutrients to support your dog's health and contains no added supplements, only 100% whole food ingredients.

Naturally occurring supplements, served fresh at mealtime ensures the efficacy of nutrients, and avoids vitamin overdoes or drug interactions.

  • A general multi-vitamin and Omega-3 Fish Oil is a good addition to your dog's diet at any age.

Consult with your Vet about your dog's individual dietary needs. You may consider requesting a hair sample analysis test to determine if your dog requires any specific suppleents in their diet.

GOOD FEED can be beneficial because:

  • Our 3-ingredient recipe can help you eliminate variables of food sensitivites.
